Guidelines on carrying satellite phone by visitors
Under Section 6 of the Indian Wireless Act and Section 20 of Indian Telegraph Act carrying/use of satellite phones, by the foreign nationals (irrespective of category of Passport) without prior approval, is illegal/unauthorized in India.
