1. The High Commission celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March, 2024 at Chancery premises. To commemorate the occasion, Mission had organised an Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Role of Women in 21st century”. More than 50 people from ages 10 and above participated. Prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners and participants of the competition during the ceremony.

2. Ms Gabriella Gonthier, former Ms Seychelles Universe and special guest on the occasion shared her ideas and perspective on the theme and also felicitated the winners and participants.
