Hon’ble External Affairs Minister of India Dr S Jaishankar along with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, launched the website for 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) at the C.B.    Muthamma Hall in the Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan in New Delhi. Minister of State for External Affairs Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh also participated in the event which was screened live for Indians and People of Indian Origin across the globe.    

2.       The High Commission organized a special gathering for the members of Indian Diaspora in Seychelles to view the official launch of the PBD website. Chairpersons of the Diaspora Associations of India and eminent members of the Indian Community in Seychelles joined the High Commissioner and staff of the High Commission to be part of the event virtually. The 18th PBD will be held at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha from 8-10 January 2025.
