Shri Kartik Pande / कार्तिक पांडे

Shri Kartik Pande is a career diplomat belonging to the 2004 batch of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

He received training in the erstwhile Foreign Service Institute from 2004 - 2006 and learnt the French language at Paris from 2006-2007. He has served in various capacities in Indian Missions in Port Louis, Paris and Colombo.

At Delhi, Shri Pande has worked in the Administration Division of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) as Deputy Secretary / Director and later as Director in the Americas Division of the MEA as well the Bangladesh / Myanmar Division.

He also served in the Global Estate Management Division and the Indian Ocean Region Division of the MEA as Joint Secretary. Shri Kartik Pande is currently serving as the High Commissioner of India to Seychelles since November 2022.

Shri Pande is an alumni of St Joseph’s College (SEM), Nainital and holds a M.Phil degree in History from JNU. He is married to Ms Esha Srivastava (a fellow IFS officer) and they have two children.
